About the Community Event Sponsorship
Council’s Community Event Sponsorship supports events that make a positive contribution to the Northern Grampians community and create broader community, visitor and economic benefits.
We’re particularly interested in events that:
- bring people together and strengthen community connection and pride;
- attract participants and visitors from across and beyond the Shire;
- showcase the unique places, people, culture and experiences of the Northern Grampians;
- support local businesses and the local economy;
- encourage collaboration and strengthen local event capacity; and
- contribute to a vibrant, connected community throughout the year.
Sponsorship of up to $3,000 can help with a range of event costs, including marketing and promotion, entertainment, equipment and infrastructure, venue hire, event safety, accessibility, waste management, volunteer support and activities that enhance the visitor and community experience.
In return, we’ll work with you to recognise Northern Grampians Shire Council’s support in ways that suit your event, which may include promotion, social media, event invitations, branding and other opportunities.
